Visiting the Harvest Festival with children
A practical guide for a family visiting Spasenie Church for the first time.
At a glance: Bring the family on September 27 at 1:00 PM to 701 Formosa Avenue, Winter Park. The church invites guests to share a festive lunch after worship.
Before you leave
Save the complete address in your map app and allow time for the drive. Winter Park is in the Orlando area, but travel time depends on your starting point and Sunday traffic.
No special clothing or advance registration is required. Russian is the main language. A regular Sunday service usually lasts about 90 minutes.
During the service
The flyer says, “Bring the whole family.” Children may stay with their parents. Stepping out with a young child during the service is fine.
After worship
The congregation will share a festive lunch. Your family may stay for the meal and meet people. Staying after the service is optional.
